Referrals

Acupuncture

We have a trained Acupuncture Practitioner (who is also a Veterinary Surgeon) and welcome referrals for her acupuncture clinic. Appointments are mainly aimed at relieving pain from osteoarthritis or muscle spasm and acupuncture is often used in conjunction with other therapy to provide extremely positive results. For more information click here. Please contact your Veterinary Surgeon for a referral for these services.

Behaviour

Ark House Vets has been able to offer referrals for dogs and cats with behaviour problems for many years. We provide a professional service by appointment only including written follow up and home visits if required. We are happy to see animals with a wide range of problems including separation anxiety, aggression, firework and other noise phobias, urine marking and anxiety.

Two members of staff are available for consultation:

Debbie Culley VN has extensive experience in behavioural problems and holds the Diploma in Human Canine Interface and the BVNA Animal Behaviour Diploma.

Hannah Lyon MRCVS has the Diploma of Companion Animal Behaviour and Training and is a Practitioner of the COAPE Association of Pet Behaviourists and Trainers (CAPBT).  Hannah is also a member of and lecturer for the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT).
