Kate Semple - Veterinary Surgeon (Principal)
Kate qualified from Cambridge University in 1994 and has been with Ark House since 1996. She has a particular interest in medicine and is currently studying for a Certificate in Small Animal Medicine. She lives with her husband, two young children and a dog (which was abandoned at Ark House as a puppy) and two cats. In her spare time she likes to travel, rock climb and ski.

Adele Caldwell - Senior Veterinary Surgeon
Adele qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 1998 and has been with the practice since July 2004. Adele is the Senior Managing Vet and spends part of her time managing the practice. Adele has a special interest in medicine. In her spare time she enjoys eating out with her husband, and playing with her cat Casper.

Christine Dunsby - Veterinary Surgeon
Christine has been a qualified Veterinary Surgeon since 2001 and joined the Practice last year. She lives with her husband in Linslade.

Hannah Lyon - Veterinary Surgeon
Hannah joined the practice in July 2005, having previously worked in Hertfordshire since qualifying in 2003. Hannah has recently obtained the Diploma of Companion Animal Behaviour and Training and is affiliated to the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. Hannah is available for consultations for behaviour problems with clients from the practice and via referral from other practices. In her spare time she trains her 3 dogs in agility and rides her horse, Fruity.

Jennifer Harrison - Veterinary Surgeon
Jennifer joined the practice in February 2006, having previously worked in Hertfordshire. Jen has a particular interest in Acupuncture and offers treatment for a variety of conditions.
She has a an elderly cat, a rabbit and a young field spaniel.

Muriel Stokes - Practice Manager
Muriel has been with Ark House since 1988 and now works part time. She shares responsibility for administration, personnel and management issues within the practice. Muriel has two standard poodles, Lottie and Abby. In her spare time she enjoys walking and gardening.

Debbie Culley - Pet Health Adviser
Debbie has been a qualified Veterinary Nurse for twenty-six years and has been with the practice since 1995. In 1992 she gained a Diploma in Canine Behaviour and currently runs behaviour clinics with vet Hannah Lyon, taking referrals from around the county. In her role as Pet Health Adviser she co-ordinates Puppy Parties, Adolescent and Geriatric Clinics, Dental Health care and is our first line of contact for clients with general pet care problems. Debbie has two border terriers Jake and Twiggy and a rabbit called Obi. In her spare time she enjoys badminton and yoga.

Claire Rockell - Head Veterinary Nurse
Claire qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1994 and has been with the practice since 1995. In addition to her nursing duties Claire is responsible for training of student veterinary nurses, ordering and maintaining stocks of prescription and lifestyle diets. Claire is also a veterinary nurse examiner for the Royal College Of Veterinary Surgeons. She has an elderly horse and a cat and enjoys agility competitions with her spaniel Basil. She has just been joined by a little sprocker puppy called Stanley.

Katie Wisbey- Student Veterinary Nurse
Katie started her Veterinary Nurse training in January 2007 and passed her first year exams with flying colours. She is currently working hard in her second and final year as a Student Veterinary Nurse. Katie has a young spaniel called Millie.

Jessica Aldridge - Student Veterinary Nurse
Jess joined Ark House in January 2007 as a Kennel Nurse and has proved herself to be an integral member of the team. Jess is now in the first year of her training to be a qualified Veterinary Nurse

Sophie Brain - Kennel Nurse
Sophie joined the practice in March 2008 as our Kennel Nurse and is already proving a valuable member of the team. She has 3 cats, a dog and a rabbit.

Tracy Baines - Receptionist
Tracy joined Ark House in 1995 and is our full time Receptionist. She is the first person you will meet when you come into the surgery and her many responsibilities include making appointments, answering the telephone, taking prescription orders and dealing with insurance claims. Outside of work Tracy enjoys reading, the cinema and entering competitions.

Rose McCormick - Practice Administrator
Rose has been at the practice since 1996 and handles most of the administration. She lives with her husband and two children and a cat which had been pregnant when brought into the surgery and needed a home after she had had her kittens.

Lesley Mead - Book keeper
Lesley has been with the practice for many years and deals with the accounts. Lesley lives with her husband and two dogs on a small holding and enjoys considerable success in showing Southdown sheep.
