Dr Kate Semple MRCVS – Veterinary Surgeon, Director.
Kate qualified from Cambridge University in 1994 and has been with Ark House since 1996. She has a particular interest in medicine and also spends quite a lot of time managing the business.
She lives with her husband, two young children and fluffy ginger cat Bushy, who was brought into the practice as a stray. In her spare time she likes to travel, rock climb and ski.
Kate enjoys the variety of veterinary work and keeps herself busy managing our growing first class practice as well as seeing clients and their pets.
Dr Adele Caldwell MRCVS – Senior Veterinary Surgeon and Clinical Manager
Adele qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 1998 and has been with the practice since 2004. Adele is the Senior Vet and Clinical Manager and spends part of her time managing the practice. Adele has a special interest in medicine and is an extremely experienced and talented clinician and surgeon with a friendly and sympathetic manner.
In her spare time she enjoys eating out with her husband, and playing with her two young cats.
Dr Jennifer Waters MRCVS – Veterinary Surgeon
Jenny grew up in Bedfordshire and qualified from Nottingham Veterinary School in 2011. After some time working in the Midlands and locally she joined our team in 2015. She lives with her partner and cat ‘Whittle’.
Dr Johanna Sharples MRCVS – Veterinary Surgeon
Jo will be a familiar face to many as she spent a lot of time with us while training to be a Vet. She grew up in the area and qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2015. She has two dogs, Bronte and Isla.
Dr Connie Edwards MRCVS
Connie grew up locally and spent time with us while training to be a Vet so may be a familiar face to many. She qualified in 2019. She lives locally with her dog Minnie.
Dr Hayley Atwell MRCVS – Veterinary Surgeon
Hayley is an experienced vet who has been working locally. She is a locum Vet.
Dr Rebecca Howell MRCVS – Veterinary Surgeon
Rebecca is an experienced Vet who has worked locally for many years. She is a locum Vet.
Sarah Priggen MRCVS – Veterinary Acupuncturist and Veterinary Surgeon
Sarah has been working in small animal practice for many years and has been a qualified Veterinary Acupuncturist since 2005. She welcomes dogs and cats particularly those with pain related to arthritis and back pain to herAcupuncture clinic.
