Ark House Vets achieves success in national competition
We have been named as a runner-up in a nationwide competition to find the veterinary practice which offers the highest levels of “customer experience”.
The competition drew entries from all across the UK and an independent judging panel, including an expert in customer relations, selected Ark House Vets as a joint runner-up with Viking Vets of Henbury, Bristol, just behind Willow Care Veterinary Ltd of Newport Pagnell.
Entrants were required to show how they provide an extremely high level of customer care – and had to include at least three recent testimonials from clients.
The judges commented that they had faced a monumental task in choosing the winner from a remarkable number of entries of an amazingly high standard. Marks were awarded under numerous headings, such as: what makes this practice different and/or special, the promotional material produced, the website and other internet presence, the training given to staff, the telephone response – assessed by a mystery shopping exercise – along with the testimonials and the overall appearance of the practice and its facilities.
The judges praised Ark House Vets “for being fun, with really cute branding, and totally client and pet focused”. They added that the practice genuinely offered a helping hand to its clients and looked really well put together.
“This is one of those practices that sets out to exceed the expectations of its clients and works hard to ensure that both clients and patients receive the very best of attention at all times – in short, it strives to offer an optimal customer experience and that is what this competition was all about,” the organisers said.
We received a certificate, trophy and a voucher for £500 to spend on a day or evening out for all the staff.
The 2011 Customer Experience Award was sponsored by two leading companies in the veterinary field, NVS and Onswitch, and promoted by Veterinary Practice, a monthly magazine for veterinary surgeons in the UK.
